Being a great way that links the east and west economy, politics, culture and thoughts, the ancient Silk Road has also been a cultural ribbon that witnessed the interaction of the four human civilizations. Richthofen, the famous geologist, geographer, founder of the modern physiognomy, orientalist and traveler, first named the trade route that wound its way from China through the Central Asian countries to the Greeks and Romans. Nowadays, Silk Road, already an international known word, has become a symbol of east-west exchanges that surpasses the simple concept of a road in its geographical meaning.KuQ大陆桥物流联盟

20世纪90年代初，中国政府经过与中亚邻邦的共同努力，贯通了东起中国连云港、经中亚诸国西至欧洲大陆一端荷兰鹿特丹的铁路线，正式宣布新亚欧大陆桥开通，这意味着与发端于中国的古代丝绸之路并行、以现代化的铁路和高速公路为代表、经由中亚连通欧洲的“新丝绸之路”从此诞生。KuQ大陆桥物流联盟

In the early 1990s, thanks to the Chinese and Central Asian governments, the railway winding from Lianyungang city via the Central Asian countries to Rotterdam of Netherlands was first through, symbolizing the construction of the new Euro-Asian Continental Bridge. The New Silk Road, constituted of modern railway and highways, and parallel to the old Silk Road from China via Central Asian to Europe also came to the public sight.KuQ大陆桥物流联盟
